We've found refuge in San Siego for the winter months, snow birding in Joshua Tree when we feel necessary. A few weeks back we set off for our first major dig after returning to the West Coast. 

We get our kicks shopping for vintage clothing no matter where we are, but the bay area has become a favorite of ours. Perhaps, it is the city and not the clothes at all. Its a tough call, really. Even so, we never leave empty handed.  

We wake early to beat the crowds and separate in opposite diretions as we pass through the gates. Its likely we wont see one another again until its over. There are times our lurking brings us together for a brief exchange and peak into each others bag of treasures. But, the wondering eye doesnt rest, and sportsmanship is out the door at this point.
